Description
Lumberyard's zombie defence system is up and running. Can you survive the 8-minute zombie apocalypse?
Some of the key features of this map:
- 1 central zombie spawn room with 4 teleporters. Zombies can choose what area to enter the map from for the best course of action. Once they enter, the areas are blocked off from the survivors so spawn camping isn't possible. This also improves fps on the map since afk zombies are in a hub away from the play area and aren't rendered.
- Better than Valve standard map optimization. It's based off a Valve map but many windows are boarded up and so visleafs are cut differently. Way less areas are drawn at once versus regular lumberyard.
- Sentry defence system. A sentry respawns every minute in the central hub area. This area also has a sufficient amount of health and amo pickups to sustain the survivors to the end.
- The center hub has a voodoo warding spell on it. Zombies can't pass through the big doors but humans can. This forces the zombies to break down the barriers and allows humans quick escape on this small map.
- Under the point there's a huge abundance of heath and amo but the floor is easily destroyable. If the zombies manage to get to it and destroy it they severely cripple the other team.
- New spooky lighting scheme. Cool colours mixing with the neutral and warm colours of light sources.
- A cool easter egg exists in this map.
- From last version the timer to win has been changed from 10 minutes to 8 to improve the chance the survivors win.
