Description

The purpose of this map was to re-design the original with TF2 props and textures to bring it more up-to-date, and to fix the main problem with the original tr_newbots map - bots kept adding and the tf_bot_count  not resetting to 0. This would cause bots to add to both teams more and more on each consecutive launch during 1 entire game session (restarting the game resets the session and said count). Fixed this by kicking all Nextbots first, then adding a bot after a few seconds upon launching the map. This will keep the bot count at 1 which was originally intended.Note: TF2's Nextbots are a newer AI system created by Valve and came with the WAR update. These bots behave quite a lot like a player would, with complex movement patterns and relatively mid-tier accuracy.This map's intention is for training one's aim and movement, it should mainly be used for warmups and muscle memory training.Still, the console command "sv_allow_point_servercommand always" MUST be set BEFORE joining, otherwise functionalities like no crits, no weapon damage spread etc. will not work.Tip: if you use an autoexec.cfg with "-autoexec" as your launch option (you can create this .cfg in your Team Fortress 2\tf\cfg folder if you don't have it), place the "sv_allow_point_servercommand always" in it, so you don't have to manually change this every time you launch the game.Link to original map can be found here For the sake of any viewer not needing to open multiple tabs to find how everything works on this bot map, I'll be copying the original creator's description below:"For playing the map, you MUST JOIN THE BLUE TEAM. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [Useful buttons] ・By pushing the button of each class,the bot is respawned as that class. ・By pushing the button of health mark of each team,the recovery of each team is toggled. ・By pushing the button of medigun mark of each team,the regeneration(ammo) of each team is toggled."The location of buttons now:Loading Zone A: all buttons related to which class you want to fight against.Loading Zone B: all buttons related to health/ammo resupply for both you and the enemy bot.All if not most of the credit goes to this original map creator (A10) firstly, secondly the Hammer++ devs and of course Valve Software for providing us with the SDK/Hammer and the whole game itself.
