Hi and welcome, to this kinda special project.

Right from the start by playing the original Antichamber, done by Alexander Bruce.
I was that stunned, that i had to contact him, and ask for permission to start this version.

So, here we are cause he agreed. :)

dm_antichamber is maybe not the usual kind of hl2dm-map that you are used to.

Its massively large and same time can cause claustrophobic feelings.
Its brighter than anything else, with a powerfull color-sheme but casts no shadows.
Its messing with your head, and its totaly NOT LOGIC. Expect the unexpected.


Take it as an experimental map,

its far away from acuracy in replicating every detail of the original thing,
remember it was done with the Unreal3 Engine, and then rebuild in source sdk. (u know what i mean^^)
The main issue, is the little shaking players notice when being teleported, and teleports happens ALOT in this map. 
(Peoples who had played Antichamber, maybe will have advantage by knowing the game-mechanics, behind the curtain)

Its not a full rebuild, but covers large parts of the original game.
Because of reaching some engine-limits, shortcuts was used to connect some areas.
Other areas which was already build, had to be deleted. 
Because those kinda, was too hard messing with the player. 
(example. the labyrinth, ending up at the endless circle)
On the other hand it wouldnt be fair to rebuild everything, 
and by doing so, completely spoil the original game. ^^

construction time: 3months - 1year ??? cant tell anymore^^

no light = no shadow

a few little secrets, in a world full of surprises^^

custom textures + sounds,
custom models, done by the amazing WhipperSnapper ( THX M8 :)

4x elevators,..
4x ladders,..

laser detected door mechanics. ^^
eye contact related door mechancis and
re- and/or dis-appearing walls/floors.

impossible paths, and floating black-matter... (touch to heal yourself)

20x combine/rebel TDM spawnpoints.
29x info_player_DM spawnpoints.
.1x info_player_start

healthkits/vials + batterys accross your way, of course.
oh and a lil more than 100 teleports. ^^ (manic laugh here)

.8x slam,..
10x ar2 (9x orbs),..
10x 357 magnum,..
12x shotgun,..
12x crossbow,..
23x frag-grenade, 6x smg-nade,..


I hope, 
players who havnt expirienced the original Antichamber yet.
Will may give it a try, or at least risk a closer look.
And those who did play Antichamber before, may will just enjoy the added deathmatch aspect.

Like i said. Take it as experimental map. Its not perfect, so dont judge me too hard.
Just enjoy the scene, and maybe check out the original Antichamber for further infos.
Its a tricky trip^^ so,..
