Mod of dm_pit created by DeviousA circular pattern map for deathmatch with a pit in the middle. Best played from the top down using the elevator at the bottom on the spiral if you want to play run and gun style.I have modified this map with a few more secret areas for sniping.Some corners have fake walls leading to small rooms that face the open area with the pit.There are lots of traps on the map usually triggered by shooting at the darker decal with a round pattern that looks like a bullseye. Those trigger fire, electricity, or crush traps. Newer triggers look like achievement icons from other games like TF2. The area with water has a room below. Shoot the black vent before going under water through the grate. In the underground room if you linger too long you will be slowly pushed toward the exit teleporter. This was done to clear bots out of there that would get stuck there.Bots also seem to get stuck in the pool with water. A grenade with clear them out. Falling into the pit will no longer kill you, but will send you to other parts of the map depending on what color corner you drop into. Beware of the giant laser that will blast the pit if someone pushes a button.I did put a master secret room on the map accessed by shooting a ceiling target and then running under the area with the blue water nearby. (Not the pool on the bottom) Please don't kill anyone in the master room, but please shoot anyone "outside" that room.Sometimes the power will go out on the map. Stay clear of the power transformer.
