kz_cegep_v7 - Hostage Rescue by Kreedz This Kreedz map feels like somewhat of a precursor to kz_castleinn. This one came out in 2001, I'm not entirely sure if it's based on a real location or if it's based on a collection of locations, but the name "CEGEP" is an acronym that stands for Collège d'enseignement général et professionnel, or for us neanderthal English speakers, is a pre-university technical college from Quebec. This isn't a concept all that familiar to me being from the east coast of the United States, but it sounds similar to a Vo Tech school here in the states, except it is attended post-high school. Feel free to fill me in in the comments if I'm missing the mark on that one. The building itself is bordering on cavernous, it's huge. Tons of explorable rooms, some inaccessible rooms between the walls, not quite Backrooms, but still a oddly disturbing if viewed in the right light. This map carries that early 2000s blocky appeal that from some angles is a bit spooky, but overall is still visually appealing. There are four hostages and a pretty fancy fountain out front where CTs spawn. As far as I was able to find, this is not based on a real location, or at least I was unable to find any CEGEP locations that looked anything like this.
