Welcome to de_district, my first ever CS map! Thanks to my buddies Ukno and Babo for listening to me complain about hammer and helping me test this map multiple times, they are now immortalized in some custom graffiti on the map! District is a 2v2 wingman map set in a small, semi-abandoned, industrial building complex within a large city in the US. Most of the civilians have already left this area of the city, and food and medical supplies for the remaining populous are dwindling. Constant terrorist attacks and kidnappings carried out by anarchist cells looking to capitalize on the scarcity have made this area of the city particularly uninhabitable. One of these groups stumbled onto an abundance of non-perishables and medical equipment, being stored and prepared for rationing, in a small building complex, hidden behind the offices of a local shipping company. Taking up occupancy in a near by apartment building, the terrorist hatch their scheme. They've already been selling food and medicine to many of the remaining civilians, a new wave of rations can only hurt their profits. But blowing the rations sky high? Makes what they have to sell worth far far more than its weight in gold... There's just one problem. Well, 2 problems... Will they succeed? Or will the skeleton crew of SWAT agents guarding the area be enough to keep them at bay... This was my first mapping project, made half in hammer and half in hammer++.
