Description
surf_sedona is a T2 linear map set in Sedona Arizona. All models including plants, trees, rocks, and other details were made specifically for this map. There are some shared textures with surf_kepler which I also made.This version of the map is designed for CSS specifically. It doesn't have momentum zones and B10 will not work in momentum. I will be separately working on getting it added natively to that game.Completion time is aorund 1 minute, currernt WR on KSF is 56.4.Development on this map started before surf_kepler which means I've
been working on this map for 5 years on and off (mostly off). It
started as a desert model pack I made in hotels while traveling for work
that I didn't want to go to waste. I eventually used it as an experiment for some other modeling techniques for ramps.If you are interested in using any of the models, by all means extract and use them. Just credit me in any completed work.Explore the map, there are a few easter eggs hidden throughout!There is a point_clientcommand which sets cl_detaildist to 9999 in console to add extra plants in the main map. A bit of a performance hit but a decently modern pc will handle it just fine. For server ownersYou may want to strip out the point_clientcommand mentioned above, or depending on your server setup it may be automatically done.
