a fun map - Playing with friends is recommended - Playing with bots is not recommended but absolutely makeable I guess bots with high difficulty can be a real pain in the face here (No cover at all = instant death). [b]NOTE : This is no typical rat map as you might expect ! You spawn on your small crate which you can not leave (without clipping (/ cheating)).[/b] [h1]About the idea ...[/h1] Basicly you start in a small crate ("shoebox"). You can pick up weapons from the weapon rack or get some at spawn (this version provides free scouts). But usually you won't sitting in there... so you can teleport yourself on the top of the box by pushing the buttons (shooting works either). Well done ! You are on the top of your box. Now you gonna realize that you quite small (about 4.5 inch tall). Then you may notice other 4.5 inch tall hostiles shooting at you or ... you are already dead ... Players have no kevlar, scouts are op. The distances between those shoeboxes (spawns) are up 400 inch. In relation to your size that are fighting distances up to 6400 inch. Dust 2 A Long is about 2000 inch at its longest range as far as i remember. So precision is needed here. IMO, following consoles commands give you some much more enjoyable experience on this map : [u]Console code :[/u] [i]sv_cheats 1;hideradar;mp_teammates_are_enemies 1;mp_respawn_on_death_ct 1;mp_respawn_on_death_t 1;mp_roundtime 60[/i] >> all vs all, 60 min match time, respawn on death The game might crash if you play with the settings above long enough. EXPLANATION : A map can only contain a specific limit of entites (like weapons). With each spawn you bring new weapons into the map and push the amount of entites a tiny bit towards the limit (if you die 100 times there are 100 more scouts in the map). If you exceed the limit, well ... you'll create a CTD. But therefore you have to die / kill hostiles about 30 minutes or more [u]in a round[/u] (atleast thats how it works for me ;) [b]GF HL[/b] [h1]Important : [/h1] The awesome weed plants I use in the map are [b]not[/b] my own work.
