My first map for Half-Life ² Deathmatch! As its name indicates it (in french though), this map takes place in a parking near form an highway. In the middle of the map is the highway, with the cars that it is to better avoid approaching too much... and on each side of the highway, there is some public places to rest yourself a moment. * A gasoline station and its small store * A place for picnic * Public toilets * A small restaurant-motel * An adventure playground for kids * And carparks of course On the optimization side, it runs rather badly, from 20-30 fps, by looking at all the map, to 50-60 fps by looking at only one side. Because it was my first HL²DM map, I was a bit too optimistic on the power of Source.
