Dm_epigram story/design idea: a band of human rebels is working to reclaim an area abandoned by the combine. a heavy weather front has moved in. they stop work and bunker down to sit out the weather, unknown to them their work has drawn the attention of the combine..... this is my latest map that i have been working on for about two weeks-ish. this is actually based on the very first map i made after moving on from a basic 'box' map. it was the first time i had used fog and displacements,it even had only the one brick texture but the layout had a certain 'magic' to it. here it has been reworked and scaled up to make a great dm map .(i hope) rec.players - 16 max.players - 32 i have also included a NOFX (no effects) version that has had some visual and sound effects removed that i though the odd person may not like. this has the added bonus of increasing performance so this version should be good for anybody who doesnt like the effects or who is running on an older pc.
